My dog Jolle loves to bath. He always looks for places where he can swim. I not so happy about that. Like on this shot. We went for a walk on a warm day. He took a bath in a boggy pond .He had to take a shower after the hike. And shower - he doesn't like that at all!.
Jølle er en skikkelig badehund! Han bader i det han måtte komme over når vi er ute på tur. I alt fra en liten dam til sjø hopper han ut i med glede. Ikke alt er like populært sett fra min side. Slik som på dette bildet her. Her sitter han godt plassert i et myrhull, men han hadde fått lov av meg. Vi var på fjellet og det var så varmt at han fikk kjøle seg ned litt. Men han måtte i dusjen da han kom hjem og dusjen, den liker han ikke!

PS! I got many questions about what breed Jolle is...Well he is a result of a lovestory between a Border Collie (mother) and a mix Rottweiler/Doberman (father). We use to call him a "Border Rottman"!!

I am now taking a diminishing dose of steroids for my Rheumatoid Arthritis pain and it works. I believe the chemotherapy drug is spelled "Methotrexate" that is used to treat a lot of things from cancer to arthritis will be used next. I just relish in being pain free.
So I am not participating in Sky Watch Friday just because I might not be able to make it around to all.
I enjoyed seeing your blog post for Sky Watch Friday and I thought your photography was excellent.
I don't know if you like to read or not but if you do this place is amazing.
I just got my first shipment of used books from Strand's bookstore in New York City, yesterday. They have 18 miles of used books. Think about that. Anyway, they got here and I am totally happy with those I chose to read. I had to start out by just choosing a category, like photography, and go from there. I don't know how in the world they can keep track of so many books.

Our lab liked to swim our pond - it's a beautiful pond with a muddy bottom. We finally had the pond made off limits with an electric fence. Didn't hurt our dog, but finally kept her out of it.

I had a lab once that liked to sunk himself into whatever water came his way. However, he also liked to shower and if the bathroom door wasn't clothed adequately he would gleefully join whoever beneath the spray. I forgot to mention that to my sister-in-law when she and my brother came to stay and she had unexpected company in her shower.

Men det er jo en flott hund da!
Jeg hadde en labrador for mange år siden som svømte under vann og dykket. Han var helt vanngal. Måtte ha han i bånd når vi gikk forbi vann vinterstid ellers så hoppet han ut i.
